Boardwalk Tap Fees $15k with Only One Connection

I first asked in September 2023 how much the developer on the Boardwalk paid for water/ sewer taps and how many meters were installed. The answer I got last week after a few follow-ups was total paid $15,375 and only one meter for the entire building which means 2 business and 8-9 condos are on one meter. In my estimation this could have normally added up to $200k. It is my understanding that each new residential unit added in CB should have its own meter (how do we shut off for non payment otherwise).

When I first asked about the Boardwalk tap fees it was during a fee rate discussion and I was told by the assistant town manager the town was working on a MOA (agreement). I do not have many more details at this time but in the future I would suggest any discounts for reduced fees/rates should come before council and the public to reduce the appearance of favoritism or back door deals.
