Boardwalk Tap Fees $15k with Only One Connection

I first asked in September 2023 how much the developer on the Boardwalk paid for water/ sewer taps and how many meters were installed. The answer I got last week after a few follow-ups was total paid $15,375 and only one meter for the entire building which means 2 business and 8-9 condos are on one meter. In my estimation this could have normally added up to $69k (based on old rates). It is my understanding that each new residential unit added in CB should have its own meter (how do we shut off for non payment otherwise).

When I first asked about the Boardwalk tap fees it was during a fee rate discussion and I was told by the assistant town manager the town was working on a MOA (agreement). I do not have many more details at this time but in the future I would suggest any discounts for reduced fees/rates should come before council and the public to reduce the appearance of favoritism or back door deals.
