CB SCHOOLS SHOULD REMAIN INDEPENDENT ~ Williams

If you pay attention to social media, you will see an attempt to smear David Williams and the candidates he endorses by making claims that they do not support the schools and want to see them turned over to the county, NOT TRUE! We urge Council candidates and their supporters not to spread untruths about other candidates and not to politicize our schools. We should be leading by example and facts do matter. The FACT is that not one council candidate has said they want to turn our schools over to the county.

Our vision for the Colonial Beach Schools is simple: remain under town control, promote our education system, provide even more opportunities, help ensure our schools are safe for all students, ensure our schools remain financially solvent and support the school board and Superintendent.

Chuck – Longtime supporter of the schools as most that know him can attest to and has said many times, he would not join with others that did not support the schools.

David – Has taken the time to learn more about our schools and how they enhance our community so he can advocate for them as a council member. Is the only council member that defended the schools when they were being blamed for the recent tax increase.

Lisette – Huge proponent of public education and wants our schools to be successful. “I believe that an independent school system is best to provide a good education”

I urge voters to go directly to the candidates to get the truth. If you would like to talk to us personally we are more than willing to talk on the phone or meet you in person.
