Thanks for your service David. I hope you enjoy a break from the rigors of being on Town Council. I don't think citizens realize the time and effort it takes to learn about how Towns operate, all the state laws that govern Towns, and then apply what they learn (through VML and other educational opportunities) to making decisions that are in the best interest of the Town and ALL the residents.


I voted no to your poll. And here are my two reasons:

  1. Virginia law does not allow for a public vote (referendum) to determine water and sewer connection fees. However, the law does explicitly allow town and city councils to give economic incentives and fee reductions to builders and…
